Herbicide injury

This tomato, I've been growing in a 5 gallon bucket using only compost from the KSU beef unit compost. It has done poorly on account that there appears to be some residual herbicide in the compost. Note the distorted leaves. It does have a few tomatoes.

  1. Greg,
I have tomato plants that look like your photo. Will the fruit be OK to eat? I also used the compost from the BRU on everything when planting this year. Did I contaminate my entire garden?

  2. Tom,

My compost from there had it too. The fruit is okay to use. It will sooner or later grow out of it. gregg
